Today AMD hosted a "Meet the Experts" online, showcasing a lot of new information on their new AM4 motherboards, which include many new features for AMD motherboards and marks a significant upgrade for those on their older AM3+ or FM2+ platforms.  

Here is just a look at what ASUS had to show at the event, which included their upcoming Crosshair VI Hero motherboard, which is designed to cater to a high-end audience and feature an overclocking ready design that is tailor made for AMD's upcoming Ryzen CPUs.

ASUS' new Crosshair VI Hero, will feature many of the same features as their Intel Z270 Maximus IX Hero, including support for RGB LEDs, Crossfire/SLI, M.2 storage and USB 3.1 support.    

This motherboard will feature ASUS' new monochrome ROG design aesthetic, with support for 4 DIMMs of DDR4 memory and integrated WIFI.

With AM4 AMD's motherboard lineup will be brought to the modern day, with all vendors, not just ASUS, offering feature sets that are competitive with Intel's modern offerings and simply outclass everything that is available on AMD's older motherboard platforms.

At this even ASUS has also been showcasing their wide range of RGB support options, their new 3D-printing friendly design and support for some of the most advanced integrated audio designs on the market.

Later at the event, ASUS also showcased their Prime X370 AM4 motherboard, which is designed to offer all the features of AMD's X370 chipset while coming at a more affordable price than their Crosshair VI Hero. 

This motherboard comes with a more simplistic design but still offers support for AMD's flagship Ryzen CPUs and comes with M.2 SSD support, USB 3.1 connectivity and ASUS Aura RGB lighting.

ASUS has also committed to releasing X370, B350 and A320 motherboards when Ryzen CPUs launch, which means that we can expect to see more AM4 motherboards in the near future.
