ASRock ITX X299E-ITX/ac motherboard is now available to pre-order in the UK

In recent years the ITX form factor has stagnated somewhat. Yes, SFX PSUs are now readily available and there are more ITX cases than ever, but the form factor has still proven too limiting for most users, especially in the world of overclocking.

Some people like the ITX form factor for one reason, to squeeze as much PC performance as possible into the smallest chassis they can, leaving users limited hardware options. ASRock with the announcement of their ITX X299E-ITX/ac motherboard changed that with the introduction of an ITX X299 option for Skylake-X CPUs, freeing end users up to bringing up to 18 CPU cores to the form factor and giving users a water block option through Bitspower to keep this motherboard's thermals under control when overclocking.
As soon as many of you hear about this board the question of "where can I buy it?" and "how much?" started to appear on social media and thankfully today we have an answer to that question. This motherboard is now overdue at Scan, which means that stock should be arriving any day now with the retailer opening up official pre-orders for the motherboard for £419.48, which does not include Bitspower's custom water block design for the motherboard and its power phases.

ASRock announces their X299E-ITX/ac motherboard

With this motherboard featuring support for Skylake-X, quad-channel memory, up to three M.2 SSDs and six total SATA 3.0 ports, X299E-ITX/ac is easily the most feature-rich ITX motherboard that we have ever seen to date. Sadly we have no availability info for this motherboard's custom water block design at this time.
