AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2nd Generation Packaging leaks

AMD's Ryzen Threadripper processors were already well known for their premium packaging, the kind of boxes that end users would proudly display on the shelves of their home office or gaming den.

With their upcoming 2000 series Ryzen Threadripper CPUs, it seems like AMD are upping their packaging game, moving from last generation's egg-shaped packaging to a more rectangular shape, showcasing their upcoming processors directly with a premium, translucent cover.

Add-ons like processor manuals and bundled mounting brackets are hidden at the sides of the package, with Threadripper standing alone in the centre within a polygonal structure, with flame-like orange highlights. You don't get this kind of packaging with Intel's X-series of processors, showcasing AMD's willingness to go the extra mile for their premium customers.
