Noctua has showcased a set of new customizable heatsink Covers, allowing users to colour coordinate your Noctua heatsink with your PCs colour scheme.

These heatsink covers will be part of Noctua's existing Chromax line of products and are compatible with Noctua's NH-U12S, NH-D15 and NH-D15S and will come in white, black and black with colour accent options. The accent colour options for the third version of this new heatsink cover are black, red, yellow, red, green and blue, matching the colours that are currently available for Noctua's anti-vibration kits.

These new heatsink covers are designed to have minimal effect on the thermal capacity of compatible CPU coolers, as they do not cover any areas that are designed to experience a lot of airflow.

Noctua says that all versions of their new Chromax heatsink covers will be available later this year, but pricing is yet to be confirmed.

Next step RGB's? J/k
No actually i think this heatsink cover is a good move. So many cases with windows now you'd be crazy to stick to beige/brown. They need to be desirable on performance (check), price (check) and looks (fail)Quote

Cryorig have introduced this as well and it was a great idea, and Malik has his custom Fortis 3 HE1425 from SilentiumPC. But in general air coolers have been suffering compared to AIO's due to looks and customization. At least with AIO units you can choose from LED colour, tubing design, fans, and even coolant colour in some units.Quote

Any news on these covers release date?

I am building a new pc, and decided to go with the nh-u14s, then stumbled upon these. Will the coves be offered for the u14s as well? , if not, I will go with the u12s for the looks.
