Noctua Show off Some new Designs at Computex

Noctua Noise Cancelling Fans Coming Closer to Launch

For years we have seen Noctua showing their Active Noise cancellation technology, which allows their fans to produce much less audible noise while running at greatly increased speeds.

Until now Noctua was able to enable this technology by using external controllers to silence their fans, but now it seems Noctua has finally been able to integrate this controller into the fan itself. Now all Noctua need to do to bring this technology to market is to adapt it for use with it's newer generation fan blade designs.

This technology will greatly improve Noctua's ability to provide components with ample airflow while still maintaining nearly silent operation.

Noctua has not provided anyone with an ETA for this product, but when they do finally arrive on the market we will be sure that they will sell exceptionally well, as the idea of more airflow while maintaining Noctua's famed silent operation is tremendously appealing.

I tremble at what the cost would be for a 360mm rad in push pull with these bad boys on it.Quote

What exactly are they trying to cancel? You can't stop the sound of air moving quickly. Only thing I could think of is electrical noise which isn't really an issue these days.Quote

So impressive, but I remember that when they were asked about the price they just said "Expensive" which is just worrying considering Noctua is not cheap to start with.
