EK showcases their new Fluid Gaming series of custom water cooling kits
A240 - Price $150, 240mm radiator and CPU block
The pricing of this new kit does not come without compromises, with several reports claiming that these kits will use aluminium water blocks and radiators instead of copper, which could cause some material incompatibility of additional parts/metals are introduced into a water cooling loop.
Aluminium is also less conductive than copper, so this kit will not provide the same performance as its higher end copper based counterpart.

What happened to the Ek Predator??? Why did they take it out of production??? I was waiting for the 140mm version. It never launched, why not???

This kit is priced right, but the components are not especially good. Your GPU will be nice and cool, but a high-end air cooler for 80 would cool the CPU better. High-end water cooling needs to be cheaper. If you're going to skimp on the quality and the performance of the water cooling, you may as well stick with air.Quote
I love water cooling I really do but these guys need to find a way of making GPU blocks cheaper. They really do. And not like £10 cheaper, more like £50 or something.Quote
Copper cost 3 times as much as alu.
I don't know, but i would think the production cost is higher in watercooling. (Rad fins, CNC milling)
I know fittings are expensive, but think of what goes into producing them.Quote
