CRYORIG reveals their new R5 cooler and Cu series of Copper coolers

Computex is coming and that means that we will have a lot of product launches on our hands over the next few weeks. Today Cryorig has announced their new R5 series single-tower, dual-fan CPU cooler alongside a new range of Cu, all-copper CPU coolers.

The Cryorig R5 is designed to offer premium cooling performance while not interfering with the users RAM, offering an optimised fin stack that is designed for this cooler's push/pull fan configuration and comes with a new cooler mounting mechanism that promised to simplify the way that coolers are mounted. This cooler will come with dual Cryorig XF140 fans, which will operate at between 800 and 1400 RPM.

Cryorig's new "Quick Lock" mounting mechanism is designed to allow Cryorig coolers to be mounted with less effort, though sadly we will have to wait for Computex to see exactly how this new mounting mechanism works.

Cryorig has also announced their new Cu series of Copper enhanced cooler designs, which will use all copper fins that will provide 2x the thermal conductivity of traditional aluminium heat stacks. This should allow these new coolers to offer superior thermal performance to their standard aluminium counterparts.

The first cooler to be release with this new Cu branding will be Cryorig's C7, with the company planning to showcase this new cooler and other Cryorig innovations at Computex 2017.

At this time Cryorig has not released the final pricing of these products, though we expect to hear more at Computex 2017, which starts next week.
