Corsair announces their new 460X and 460X RGB cases, offering a design that is similar to the 400c but with tempered glass side panels and can come with 3 of Corsair's new SP120 RGB fans.

To put it simply the Corsair 460X is a 400c with a new external aesthetic, which is not actually a bad thing given the fact that the 400c won the OC3D Gold Award when we reviewed it. This new model does come with a price premium, though the case does offer a completely new aesthetic, one which is highly suited to Corsair's new RGB LED fans and other components.

The case has the same airflow design as the 400c, giving this case plenty of airflow while maintaining a compact chassis design. The 460X RGB version will come with three of Corsair's new SP120 RGB LED fans as well as a control module and RGB switch, which is an add-on that costs £49.99 separately but only around $20 more if the pricing on Corsair's own website is correct.

With a drive bayless design and a room for dual 3.5" and three 2.5" storage drives the Corsair 460X offers a lot of room for most gaming rigs, especially given how much room this chassis has for water cooling.

Right now the Corsair 460X RGB costs $139.99 on Corsair's US website and £106.99 on their UK website, with the Non-RGB variant costing  $119.99 and  £91.26 respectively. This new chassis design is expected to hit retail shelves soon.

I quite like this. The 400C was nice but didn't quite do it for me. This lets you see all the good bits but hides the back side of the motherboard. I like the Phanteks Evolv ATX TG and the in Win 805 cases but tidying up the back side would be a nightmare unless you had custom cable lengths and mad patience.Quote
