Cooler Master announces their MasterBox 5t chassis

Two days ago, Cooler Master announced their MasterCase Maker 5T chassis, a high-cost gaming chassis which came with a lot of premium features. This chassis is too costly for more budget-minded gamers, though thankfully they have now offered a more affordable chassis that offers a similar design aesthetic and the same 5T-series red and Black colour scheme.

Instead of being based on the MasterCase Maker 5 chassis this low-cost variant is based on Cooler Master's MasterBox 5 series chassis, which won the OC3D value for money award earlier in the year.

This new version of the chassis will come with the same internal layout as the MasterBox 5, which means that you can look at our MasterBox 5 review for our opinions on the case's internals,  which supports flexible mounting for a single 2.5" SSD and dual 3.5"/2.5" SSDs, has a PSU shroud for cable management and red painted internals for a more striking external aesthetic.

This chassis will support ATX, MATX and Mini-ITX systems, with support for water cooling radiators at the front of the system, with support for up to a 50mm thick 360mm radiator in the front if you remove the case's dual 3.5" drive bays.

The cooler Master MasterBox 5t chassis will be available to purchase at retail in mid-December in the EU for the price of £74.99.
