Antec Launches their Silent Guardian Chassis - A Silent Case with 8 HDD Mounts

In 2019 Antec plans to release their new P101 Silent chassis, a new PC case that will satisfy the needs fo storage purists and silence freaks alike, offering mounting positions for eight 3.5-inch drives while also offering sound deadened side panels to provide minimal noise.

The front of the chassis is mounted upon a hinge, which reveals a 5.25-inch drive bay and removable dust filter that covers three 120mm fans which are installed at the front of the enclosure. At the rear of the case, there is also a single 140mm exhaust. The P101 Silent has no space for fans at the top of the chassis.

The case measures in at 527 mm x 232 mm x 506 mm (L x W x H), offering enough space for ATX, MATX and ITX mainboards, the case providing support for two 2.5-inch drives behind the case's motherboard tray. Each of this P101 Silent's 3.5-inch drive bays is mounted in pairs and can be removed is the user wishes, enabling users to mount up to a 360mm radiator at the front of the case.

I remember when other case manufacturers used to copy Antec. Like NZXT. Makes me sad.Quote

We could do with more Fractal Design "rip offs" tbh, sleek minimalist black boxes should be as ubiquitous as the messes of meshes we often get imo.Quote

Well, yeah. If you're gonna copy someone else's work, at least copy from the best.Quote

And it's not THAT different from the old Antec 1100, just with less mesh and more dampening.Quote
