Logitech has announced that they have acquired the headset maker Astro for $85 million, adding the company to their gaming division and all of their current designs under the Logitech Gaming banner.Â
Â
Astro currently focuses on gaming and professional headsets for the console market, with Logitech seeing how well their expertise and products would compliment Logitech’s own PC-centric gaming hardware lineup.Â

This means that Astro Gaming will not completely disappear within Logitech, with both Astro Gaming and Logitech Gaming brands working side-by-side to focus on their preferred markets separately, console and PC gaming. Â
