THQ Nordic is bringing five Microsoft Games to Steam – All Windows Store Exclusives

THQ Nordic has announced that they will be bringing five for Microsoft/Windows Store exclusives to Steam and Physical retailers, including Disneyland Adventures, ReCore: Definitive Edition, Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure, Super Lucky’s Tale and Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection.

At this time, THQ Nordic has not announced the release date of any of these titles on Steam, though it is worth noting that all of them are already available on the Windows 10 Store, either individually or through Microsoft’s Game Pass system as Xbox Play Anywhere titles.

This move will make these games more accessible to PC gamers, and purchasable for detractors of the Windows 10 Storefront. Today, the Windows/Microsoft Store is easily the least user-friendly gaming storefront outside the big four, Steam, Origin, Uplay and GOG.

So far, Microsoft has seemed unwilling to release many of their high profile first party titles outside of the Windows 10 Store, including Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves and the Forza series. However, other titles such as Halo Wars and Quantum Break have already been made available on Steam.
