It has been confirmed that Post-launch Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer maps will be available to players for free, which means that the galaxy-spanning RPG will not have map pack DLC.

Unlike Mass Effect 3, Andromeda’s multiplayer mode will not directly impact the game’s singleplayer campaign, which is great news for those that don’t want to muddy themselves with multiplayer or fear getting a “worse” ending for the game if the playerbase for the multiplayer component dies over time.

Some select multiplayer oriented “Missions” available to play in multiplayer and with an NPC “Strike Team, with the only change being whether players gain multiplayer experience/loot or single player character experience for strike team NPCs. This means that these missions are available to all Mass Effect Andromeda players, regardless of whether they have a singleplayer or multiplayer preference.
