Capcom confirms that Okami HD is releasing later this year

 
Okami HD has been officially confirmed in several Japanise magazines, revealing a release date of December 21st in Japan. The game is also confirmed to support HD/4K resolutions (depending on the console used) as well as HDR support on compatible devices. 
 
Three new versions of Okami HD have been rated by the South Korean ratings body GRAC, revealing that PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of Okami HD could be in the works. At this time there has been no official confirmation regarding what platforms Okami HD will be releasing on.  

Okami was originally released on the PS2 in 2006, with a Wii version coming in 2008 and a PS3 version called Okami HD releasing on PS3 in 2012. The standard edition of Okami HD (named Okami Zekkei in Japan) is said to retail for 2990 yen.

Okami HD is expected to be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show, which will take place later this month. 

 

Update – New information has come to light which suggests that the PC version of the game will release on December 13th and the PS4/Xbox One versions of the game will release on the same day. Physical copies will only be available on PS4.
