Philips announce their Ultra-thin Moda 245C7QJSB 24-inch display, coming with an ultra-thin bezel and a screen resolution of  1920×1200.

This monitor uses an IPS panel and supports 101.4% of the NTSC colour gamut, which is a higher than the colour gamut of a lot of modern displays, but far from what any of the current HDR standards provide. This display will come with inputs for HDMI, Displayport 1.2 and VGA, with this display coming with no VESA monitor mounts.

This is the first in a new line-up of displays for the home to combine elegant Moda looks with Ultra Wide Color Technology. Most home users use their display both for working productively and for entertainment – and the new 24-inch display offers the best of both. It looks good in living spaces or on desks, and also provides a brilliant viewing experience with colour reproduction that is more realistic than ever.

This new display will come with a £189, with a planned launch later this month. This display is 5.2mm thick and has a bezel that has a thickness of 2.5mm on three sides. This makes this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations, though sadly the display’s lack of VESA mount support will prevent this display from being used with monitor arms.
