It looks like Gigabyte plans to release one of the world’s smalled RTX series graphics cards, bringing the ray tracing umph of the RTX 2070 into the confines of the Mini ITX form factor.
While the compact nature of this graphics card should be commended, it comes with a few shortcomings, both of which are visible from Videocardz‘s leaked images. As we can see the boxart has no mention of a factory overclock, likely giving this graphics card performance levels that are below Nvidia’s Founders Edition.
Connectivity-wise, Gigabyte is not pulling any punches with their RTX 2070 Mini ITX, offering three DisplayPort 1.4 connections, a single HDMI 2.0 connection and a VirtualLink port, making this graphics card complaint with future VurtialLink based VR headsets. Â
The only notable downside of this graphics card it is reference clock speeds, which will give this graphics card less performance than Nvidia’s Founders Edition graphics card. Even so, users should be able to utilise Nvidia’s automatic overclocking utilities to regain at least some of this lost performance.Â

At this time it is unknown when Gigabyte’s Mini ITX RTX 2070 graphics card will make it to market, or what price tag this GPU will aim for at retail.Â
