Gigabyte announce their A320-DS3 and A320M-HD2 AM4 motherboards

Gigabyte has now announced their A320-DS3 and A320M-HD2 AM4 motherboards, both of which are expected to cost under £80.

These two new motherboards will use AMD’s entry-level A320 chipset, lacking overclocking support and other high-end features. These two motherboards will sport a PCIe 3.0 16x slot for a single GPU and a PCIe 2.0 4x (16x sized) slot. These two motherboards from MSI will also lack support for M.2 storage, though an adapter can be used in this motherboard’s PCIe 2.0 4x slot with an adapter.

The A320-DS3 will be Gigabyte’s ATX A320 series board, coming with 4 SATA 3.0 connections, dual USB 3.1 type-A ports and video outputs for DVI and VGA, making this motherboard suitable for use with AMD APUs.

Moving down to the MATX A320-HD2 we can see that this motherboard also includes a clearly visible HDMI display output, otherwise coming with many of the same features as its ATX counterpart.

Both of these new motherboards come with two DDR4 memory slots, which operate in dual channel mode.

Right now it is unknown exactly when these two new motherboards will hit the market or their exact pricing. Given the pricing of most B350 chipset motherboards, these two entry-level models will likely be priced at under £80, given the lower end feature set and lack of overclocking potential.
