ASUS release their Prime B350M-E Ryzen ready motherboard

 
ASUS has now released their new Prime B350M-E Ryzen ready motherboard, which comes ready for both Ryzen CPUs and APUs. This motherboard comes with an 8-pin EPS power connection and a 6-phase VRM, allowing this motherboard to easily power AMD’s 8-core Ryzen lineup. 
 
This motherboard will support Ryzen overclocking using AMD’s B350 chipset, though users will need to bear in mind that this motherboard lacks any VRM heatsinks. We can also see that the Prime B350M-E only supports dual-channel DDR4 memory, with ASUS claiming that this motherboard already supports over 350 memory kits at launch, with more support coming with future BIOS itterations. 
 
Storage wise, this motherboard supports M.2 NVMe storage though this motherboard’s single 32Gb/s M.2 slot, with additional mass storage being avaialble using this motherboard’s four SATA 6Gb/s connections.

On the rear IO, this motherboard supports two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, as well as 4 USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1, with several display outputs which will be utilised with AM4-ready APUs. 

At this time, ASUS has not released the final pricing of this motherboard, though it is expected to cost around £80.
