AMD has released a broad list of Ryzen compatible DDR4 memory modules

AMD has released a broad list of Ryzen compatible DDR4 memory modules, which AMD has verified to work at rated speeds with Ryzen CPUs at DCOP settings. Some of these kits may require BIOS updates with AMD’s latest AGESA 1.0.0.6 microcode update on select motherboards.

These verified kits come with speeds that range from 2133MHz to 3200MHz, coming from a range of manufacturers like G.Skill, Corsair, GEIL, ADATA and HyperX. All of the kits in this list have been verified to work reliably with AMD’s latest Ryzen CPUs.

Faster DDR4 memory has already been shown to boost Ryzen’s performance in certain scenarios, allowing Ryzen not only to offer increased levels of memory performance but to also come with higher Infinity Fabric speeds on the CPU itself.

AMD’s Infinity Fabric is set to run at the same speed as the user’s memory, allowing users of high-speed memory to also benefit from increased performance in other areas of the CPU. This has been shown to improve Ryzen’s gaming performance in CPU limited titles, as well as other performance metrics.
