ASUS wows creators with their new 8K ProArt PA32KCX mini LED monitor

ASUS reveals their first ProArt 8K monitor for creative professionals

ASUS has officially revealed their first 32-inch 8K monitor, the ProArt PA32KCX. This screen is designed for cutting-edge creative workloads and virtual production. This screen allows users to work with ultra high resolution content with stunning HDR details.

This Mini-LED display features 4096 backlight zones and supports a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. In full-screen mode, this screen can deliver 1,000 nits of brightness. Beyond that, it’s 97% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and ΔE value of less than one make it perfect for video and image editing.

The ASUS ProArt PA32KCX is the first 32-inch 8K monitor to feature DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity out of the box. The screen also features a built-in motorised colourimeter for automatic self-calibration. This screen also supports HDMI 2.1 inputs.

According to Vincent Tech on X, this production-oriented screen is said to have a “preliminary price” of $8K. While this price is extremely high, so are the costs of the other equipment that users of this screen are expected to have. Cutting-edge cinematography is expensive, and so are 8K displays. Add both those features together, and you get the ultra-expensive ASUS ProArt PA32KCX.
