ASUS has just revealed a new OLED monitor called the ROG STRIX OLED XG27AQDMG, a gaming display that features a “world first” glossy WOLED panel and a 240Hz refresh rate.

This 240 Hz 1440p gaming monitor is a 3rd generation OLED monitor from ASUS that measures in at 26.5 inches. ASUS has stated that their new Glossy WOLED monitor features a gray-to-gray response times of 0.03ms and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The screen also features a Delta E value of less than 2 and a DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. ASUS are also backing this monitor up with a 3-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.

Like other ASUS ROG monitors, their Strix XG27AQDMG features a custom heatsink solution and a high airflow design to ensure that this screen remains cool. This helps to reduce burn-in risks and helps ASUS to maintain high levels of display brightness. This screen also features a uniform brightness setting that will prevent the screen delivers consistent luminance levels when required.
