Seasonic showcase “Noctua Edition” Prime XT-1600 PSU at Computex

Seasonic makes their Prime series PSUs much quieter with new “Noctua Edition” upgrades

At Computex 2024, Seasonic are showcasing a new “Noctua Edition” variant of their Prime TX-1600 power supply. Thanks to their collaboration with Noctua, Seasonic are boasting an 8-10 dB(A) reduction in noise levels. This changes makes the PSU much quieter than its standard counterpart under high loads.

This PSU features a Noctua NF-A12x25 fan and a “custom designed, highly optimised fan grill”. This PSU can operate fanlessly at up to 50% load conditions at 25 degrees Celsius operating conditions. This makes the PSU virtually noise free under most load conditions.

This special edition power supply is ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant, and both 80+ Titanium and Cybnetics ETA Titanium certified. That means that this PSU is 94% efficient at 50% loads.

To match the unit’s Noctua styling, this power supply ships with “Noctua Themed cabling” to tie this special edition PSU in with other Noctua components. Remember, this is not Noctua’s first “Noctua Edition” product. ASUS have already created two generation of Noctua Edition GPUs, including an RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua Edition.

Seasonic expects their Noctua Edition PSU to release in Q4 2024.
