Zotac Zbox Plus ID45 Review

3DMark

Now we're moving onto the GPU section of the review, we're really hoping the ID45 starts to excel in the benchmarks. The GT640 inside should be powerful enough to put the AMD and Intel processors to shame - much the same as what they did to the ID45 in the CPU orientated tests.

3DMark

We're really glad things have started to turn in favour for the ID45. It's looking like the GT640 is going to be powerful enough to pull the ID45 through the more graphically intensive test, which actually enforces our belief more that it should have been equipped with a better processor.

3DMark Vantage

Despite still being a graphically intensive benchmark, 3DMark Vantage does contain more CPU based elements than the other graphics benchmarks such as 3DMark and 3DMark 11. Because of this, despite trading blows with the 6800K, it can't quite edge ahead. This yet again begs the question as to why a previous generation i3 processor was put in the ID45.

3DMark 11

We see the same story in 3DMark 11 as we saw in 3DMark, with the GT640 in the ID45 pulling the system through the graphics intensive tests.

Like the idea of one of these maybe as a steam streaming box by the tv. Having said that i don't think they look that great. The Gigabyte Brix pro and Brix gaming are more up my street visually. Hope you guys get to test one of them against one of these.
