Zotac Zbox Plus ID45 Review

PCMark

Futuremark's PCMark benchmarks are great for testing the overall performance of a system. Tests include processor performance, web browsing, spreadsheets and image manipulation to name a few, and the results should indicate how well the processors are affecting the overall system.

PCMark Vantage

Here we see results that we probably wouldn't have expected to see. We're assuming 'gaming' benchmarks run on PCMark Vantage don't take the graphics card itself into the count, and only the processors abilities, as we would have expected a lot more from the ID45 in this test. At the same time, it's strange to see the i3 beating the two AMD chips in gaming performance since we already know the AMD 6800K and 5800K should be far superior. We'll count PCMark Vantage as a more anomalous result.

PCMark 7

PCMark7, with just a single score probably represents a better all round CPU performance than we've seen in the previous PCMark Vantage. Here, again we see the ID45 falling behind the others.

Like the idea of one of these maybe as a steam streaming box by the tv. Having said that i don't think they look that great. The Gigabyte Brix pro and Brix gaming are more up my street visually. Hope you guys get to test one of them against one of these.
