Cincinnati Bengal System Overview

Cincinnati Bengal System Overview

Starting off with the Intel i7-2600K which on the Asrock Extreme4 is currently clocked to 4.6GHz which is nice and stable for the time being. When the window arrives and the system can be 'locked down' I'll see what the ragged edge is. The AlphaCool CPU block keeps the CPU around 55°C under load which is good considering the system is designed for silence more than absolute cooling performance.

In AIDA we can see how good the performance of the 2600K is. Although it's giving 400MHz away to our 5GHz example the performance is damn good.

I just downloaded PCMark 7 and hit 6,000 points on the nose on the 1st run with my daily use system: PCM7

ASUS Maximus IV Extreme

Intel i7-2600K at 5.01GHz. w/Corsair H100 cooler (less than 60C fully loaded)

Crucial M4 256GB SSD x 1

EVGA GTX590 x 2 in Quad-SLi (around 70C fully loaded)

Mushkin Redline DDR3-1866MHz 4 x 4GB

I guess I need to watercool this thing sometime and see what it does when seriously OC'd!

Cincinnati Bengals black and orange? A little early for Halloween isn't it? Or is there some other annual celebration over in old Blighty of which I'm unaware?

That is one awesome system. Really love the orange and black theme, especially how the orange coolant looks in the loops. Always happy to see Tom's amazing work on the systems he builds.

Is an outstanding rig. Be nice if some company did builds in team colors. (this is where someone links to something I've missed)

Best of luck in getting WEI 7.9 across the board tho

Its a good build, but ive never been a fan of carbon wrap. it doesnt flow round small corners great at all, it creases into little bits.
