Sandra will always be the test in which the difference between an i5-4670K and an i7-4770K will be the most obvious, and so it proves. Although in the early days of Hyper-Threading it was seen as something which couldn't make up for pure core numbers, it's so refined on the latest Intel CPUs, especially the 4th Generation models, that it's almost like having extra cores in place. Still, you wouldn't buy an i5 solely to number crunch would you.

have you reviewed that cooler? i want to know how loud it is. iv'e always used scythe as my air coolers and not had the joys of this one.Quote
