Sandra shows the Ballistix being even closer with a bandwidth of 26.5 GB/s, a mere .8 behind the Ares. With the 4GHz i5-2500K factored into the equation the Cache and Memory Bandwidth test gives a very healthy 108 GB/s.

got some of this stuff, i think that your review of it was spot on as per usual.
Crucial states that the Ballistic w/ the tall heatspreaders won't fit with the NH-D14, but I see you used the NH-D14 for your test setup. No issues with the clearance?
