As I wasn't given the mouse mat in retail packaging, I thought I'd briefly mention it in this review.
The mat is a hard coated plastic mouse mat with a rubberised base for grip. It's quite large at 350 x 260mm and again looks good in red with black highlights, as shown below against an Icemat V1.
The base of the pad is grippy and doesn't slip on the surface of my desk.
Hades have done a great job with the pad and it's good quality and attractive.
The pad is responsive and smooth and particularly good with the mouse which gives a very positive experience combined. My Logitech G5 also was very smooth on the Hades gaming pad.
All in all, a nice bit of kit. Now onto testing the mouse.

Nice review kemp, personally im not too sure on the looks, looks abit plasticy to me tbh.... Seems a solid performer mind, the mouse matt also looks pretty good.
I don't think it's any more plasticky than my Logitech G5, apart from perhaps the two issues I brought up
Great review as usual Kemp. The Hades performed really well, especially against a very seasoned vet like the G5. I also love the fact that the mouse is so configurable.
