Crysis 2
A change of game but the result remains the same. The MSI is consistently good, but just shy of the Zotac AMP!.

That is a brilliant cooler, amazing temps.
I think giving it an 8/10 for price is high. I mean, £480? When both OC'd it looses in the toughest games around (BF3 and Metro) to the 7950...

Agreed. If it was me i'd have knocked the price score down a bit. Still a great card and the cooler is incredible, but its expensive nonetheless for the performance it delivered in tests
For some reason when i first clicked on here i didn't see the continue reading link

I must admit i was going to buy this card an till i heard about the gtx 670's i wonder how good the msi 670 are going to be or should i just buy this one
Delta temps on GPU's I would like to see next to the normal temps. Also the DCII on my gtx580's great after cooler love to see it on the gtx 680 even though its a triple sloter.
Yeah, the 670s made the 680s not really worth paying the extra for. The Asus DCII TOP has 680 performance out of the box and still has overclock head room. Even with the ref 670s there is only a few % difference in performance, obviously a 680 will clock higher but a 670 isn't far behind plus depending on the model up to £100 cheaper.
Looks great but since I'm not made of money I'll be getting a reference 670
A nice looking card, but performance is underwhelming considering the price tag. As mentioned above the 670 and 7950's are much smarter choices.
Nice card, but i wonder why they didn't bring this card out as a lightning.
The 680 are way to overpriced. Why would anyone but this when you can get a 7970 direct CU II for £390.

You guys get raped so hard on prices. A reference 680 here is priced at $499 or about £323. Now the problem still is finding one. 670s are easy to get though.
In comparison we get paid a lot more than Americans do so the price different is about the same. If i got paid £50000 a year that would be over $77000 so we don't get raped that much.
It's tax that rapes us Brits, we pay 20% income tax, plus national insurance from our wages and then we have to pay 20% tax on the stuff we buy.
Or 40% if you are 'lucky'.
Surely the 680 remains a higher price here because stupid people keep buying them?

Nice review as always. The 680 is a pointless card as far as I can see...
Heya Tom, I'm wondering if you guys might be doing a review on the 4GB cards that have been released? Would be awesome to know what the performance difference is, especially from a reputable reviewer/s.
Cheers.
Cheers.

The MSI Twin Frozr cards have always been exceptional. Today we see if the GTX680 version continues the trend.
