Gigabyte GTX580 Super Overclock Review

3D Mark 11

Obviously the big comparison in our testing is between this GTX580 SOC and the reference model. If that is the sole measure of it then oh my are we in for a treat. It completely spanks the reference card and, as if that wasn't enough, the overclock gains even more performance. Yes it really isn't that far behind the GTX590.

It speaks volumes about the amount of performance the SOC is capable of when it sits with the dual-GPU cards and isn't disgraced at all. The HD6990 is a monster of a card yet, in P score at least, the GTX580 SOC leaves it in the dust. The reference GTX580 is no match, and that's a beast of a GPU.

Impressive card. I must admit that Gigabyte is becoming my favourite brand. Would love to have two of these in sli. Will probably cost around 800£ for two of these

Actually two costs 946£. Gotta love the prizes in Norway Quote
