Club 3D HD7850 Royal Queen Review

Metro 2033

Metro 2033 is nothing if not a consistently performer. However, this consistency can at least shine a light on the available performance from your card. Although the Royal Queen doesn't hit the giddy heights (!) of 30FPS that we'd expect from a single GPU, it's not a long way behind the GTX660Ti, and when playing the game for our benchmarking it didn't feel as sluggish as the result would make it seem.

Everything sounds great, but I cannot find the card for the stated price. The cheapest I can find it within UK is around £140 and this is for the 1GB version. I know it would be advertising if you mention the retailer but I do not think £130 is real. Yet.

The card was a 1GB, as stated on the box. The specifications are copied from the Club 3D website and I hadn't noticed they'd got it wrong.

So yes, this is the 1GB variant.
