Adding a great dollop of anti-aliasing to the proceedings gives some surprising results. In ‘standard’ testing trim the single card delivers what we’d expect, but adding a second card gives us an improvement very close to 90%. This is exactly what we were hoping for throughout the rest of our testing. Obviously it wasn’t the case. However the 3D really shows how even a dual-GPU beast like the MARS 2 can struggle as the average frame-rate drops from 73 to 22!
