The i7-4770K certainly is a toasty thing. When a H100i with some high quality fans running hard still struggles to tame the temperatures then you know that a dedicated water loop with a giant radiator is mandatory for high overclocks.

Power Draw

With the slightly faster stock speed and the much higher overclock, it's not a surprise to see the MSI draw more power than the D3HP, although it's still lower than the 3rd Generation setup.

Our next LGA1150 Z87 motherboard is the GD65 Gaming from MSI. We loved the Z77 Gaming, so does this continue the trend?

£157 is a massive bargain for the features it provides. Lovin' the fact that they provide 8 SATA 6 ports and improved on board audio.
