Asus P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP @n Socket 775 Motherboard

Synthetic CPU & Memory Results

sisoft sandra

SiSoft Sandra is a synthetic benchmark utility capable of reporting and benchmarking a wide range of system components. All benchmarks were run three times to ensure reliability and consistency.

sisoft cpu arithmatic dhrystone

sisoft cpu arithmatic whetstone

sisoft cpu multimedia int

sisoft multimedia float

sisoft memory bandwidth int

sisoft memory bandwidth floats

sisoft memory latencysmall

As you can see with the SiSoft Sandra results above, the P5E3 gains some performance by having DDR3, especially in the bandwidth and latency tests, despite actually having higher latency timings.

lavalys everest

Everest is in many ways similar to Sisoft Sandra. Focusing mainly on Software and Hardware information reporting, Everest also comes with a benchmark utility suitable for testing the read, write and latency performance of the memory subsystem.

lavalys everest memory read

lavalys everest memory write

lavalys everest memory latencys

Again the P5E3 shows its speed in the Lavalys Everest memory bandwidth tests.

looks decent enough, but why, in one of the pictures, was there a sticker over two usb ports, and a network port? :S

infact, its in the pic in the first post ^^

is it to protect it or somthing? :S

Looks nice, shame the overclocking isnt as good as the rest of it

Agreed, although cooling limited me tbh. Still 3.7GHz easily on a Q6600 isn't to be sniffed at. Sometimes I wish we could have a bit more time with the boards to tweak away
