SiSoft Sandra

The Z97A takes the Arithmetic result in Sandra by a little, although the Dhrystone test clearly favours the cheapest board of the three. Even that lead doesn't get close to the monster difference the Maximus VII Hero has in the MultiMedia Floating Point benchmark, where it doubles the next best motherboard. Almost unbelievable stuff here.

Love it, Thank you so much for the review Tom. I have mine and am starting on the build. I really hope you get to M.2 reviews soon. The thought of a self contained bootable system that performs great is a big one for me. After seeing this review, I need to buy some better memory than I have to do this board justice.Quote
