ASUS Maximus V Extreme Review

PC Mark Vantage

Starting with Vantage we have a good level of stock performance. Cranking things up with our overclock leads to the rather strange scenario in that the Productivity and Gaming tests aren't at the very top of the pile, yet the overall PC Mark score is over a thousand points ahead of the next best.

PC Mark 7

Moving on to PC Mark 7 and the results are very tight across the board. At stock the Maximus is just headed by the Sniper 3, but with our overclock in place it is the first of the Z77s to break through the 6000 point mark. Fine stuff indeed.
