AIDA64 is a benchmark suite containing a plethora of tests for the whole system. For our needs we singled out the tests that represent the performance of the CPU and the memory.
Our initial CPU tests here show both of the Kaveri APUs to be hovering around the same area as the previous two generations. The CPU Queen tests do actually show both of the chips losing to both the Trinity and Richland models, although this isn't too significant. It is also worth noting here that the increase in memory speed hasn't made any sizeable impact on results.
The memory tests here do show that Kaveri does have a better memory controller than the 6800K, and as you'd expect here overclocking the RAM has had a reasonable impact on results. Memory Latency tests seem unaffected by the RAM speed however.
