AMD Athlon 860K Black Edition CPU Review

AMD Athlon 860K Review

Cinebench R15

In Cinebench R15 we see that the Athlon 760K and 860K again perform very similarly, showing that the AMD Steamroller cores are not necessarily more powerful than the Richland CPU in all situations.

Overclocking the CPU does give us gains of around 20% at both memory speeds.

Luxmark

In luxmark the 860K performs slightly worse than the 760K in terms of CPU score, which we believe to be due to the lower clock speeds of the 860K. In terms of GPU and combined performance the Dedicated GPU CPU combo again blows AMD’s flagship APU out of the water.
