Dear Santa. Could we have a VRX iMotion Simulator each for Xmas.
There are a few dedicated racing machines at the show, and of them we fell in love with the mental VRX offering. They've been around for a long time and are well known in the Sim Racing community, but this triple-screen monster is something else.
Sure the thick end of £26000 is a hell of a wedge, but look at the craftsmanship. Carbon and aircraft grade steel everywhere.
Controls well within reach, whilst still keeping your hands on the wheel. It has actuators capable of delivering 2G of motion.
Sturdy as hell, stunning to look at and more expensive than marrying Heather Mills. We want one more than many things indeed. Although if I could have mine without the grinning loon in it...

gonna be a crowd puller

and the stand will be too
Keep us updated Tom, it's a shame there isn't a live stream like they have at CES.
just need a megaphone now to draw people to the amazing PCs and away from Suzy Perry!

I guess the wifi there isn't exactly brilliant like most live events though.
Oh, and dont be overclocking the leap frogs on the next stand!

Joking aside, that cars classic!
Heck they could start a small product line so long as each case has one of those slide up front doors.
Also, I couldn't help but notice a remarkable similarity:

(mind the poor paint skills)
Similar homes as well - Packed with gadgets!!!
Thanks for the floor plan Tom I can now plan it all out and come up with an escape route

3 screen 3d?
whats the hardware and can you buy them?
do you think they would notice if i cam down and stuck it the back of a van?
And I thought the GT-R Skyline owned by Vibe was the one with the red rising sun, so thought this was a R34. Ah well.

This wasn't the one at the show, I think the one at the show was attached to a Vision Racer chair. There is just so much stuff there that you kind of loose track.
Tom I think you should go and check it out if you can find it, and then obviously swipe it for a lengthy review... Maybe 6 months or so...
The rigs do look Amazing in the flesh, not many white rigs there which made your stuff stand out even more. The water cooled SnowDrift looked brilliant, and I can only imagine the hours that that took to put together. My favourite had to be the Yeti, it just looks so clean and the white with the window might have to save up for one of those....

Spent a good 2 hours talking together
The rigs look so cool in real life.
And my god those speakers were just amazing!
Thank you Tom for the goodies and the long conversation we had.
Jack,

Just some of me and to having a laugh and a chat.

there should be a rule that pics over 1080p will not be allowed
lol - 4000x3000 does NOT make ttl look any better
It was on the back of a flat bed. It certainly got a double take. I took a few pics but can't find them.

Shame that there was no F@H promotion or just a little screen with the Team number |
|
No room mate, please remember its a huge deal I even got the OC3D name there. Technically the rigs were there to promte Aria. Also a bit pointless just having a team number, youd need a rig folding with fliers explaining ect ect - also all that on an AMD stand? I think not. |

never the less, great rigs you showed there Tom but I expected nothing less from you
For the Yetei you say: "In the middle is Yeti. No not VB, the system. This is all about hardcore gaming. A Silverstone Raven 2 houses a Gigabyte 890 UD3 motherboard and Corsair HX1000w PSU."
...but i cant help but notice the fact that it looks like a AX750W...

Plan yourself a few days relax afterwards.

Im goig to keep this short and sweet because its been a hell of a day and Ive still not had any dinner!
Most of the day has been spent waiting aroud for electric to be sorted on the stand, and Ive had no wifi either too upload anything from the event.
Pretty much all I can say is the OC3D/Aria stand is all set up ready, the rigs are on the stand, checked and all good.
Bring on the press day tomorrow and then the public from Wednesday!
Anyways here are some pics, Im going to try and upload a video overnight (hotel net is slow)
Stand just a shell, not electric or signs ect, how it was when I arrived.

All the parts and rig arrived about 1pm but still no electric

About 8pm I finally got electric and got cracking leak checking, and stability testing. Few minor issues but I got round them and everything is up and running!
