Thermaltake Releases New V1R Memory Cooler

As PC enthusiasts begin to push their RAM further and further in frequency, the cooling of the modules has become a larger concern.  After the successful launch of their first Spirit RS cooler, Thermaltake has decided to release another heatpipe-based cooler: the V1R.

Based on Thermaltake's V1 CPU cooler, the V1R features the Dual-VTM architecture, utilizing V-shaped copper fins set around a copper heatpipe.  The V1R also utilizes features seen in the Spirit RS cooler: the adjustable heatpipe thermal module, aluminum extruded heatspreader.  All of this was designed for maximum heat transfer capabilities and easy fitting.

The V1R RAM cooler is compatible with all DDR and DDR2 memory modules, with two sizes of memory pads for fitting on single- or double-sided modules.
