SteelSeries, a leading manufacturer of innovative professional gaming gear, today announced a new sponsorship of international multi-gaming organisation SK-Gaming. With the new sponsorship SteelSeries and SK-Gaming will be affiliated throughout 2007/2008 and the full SteelSeries product line of headsets, keyboards and mouse pads will be used by SK-Gaming's players.

SK-Gaming was founded in 1997 to play the most important games in the fast growing, and at the time brand new, field of eSport. Since then the organisation has housed some of the most accomplished and successful eSports players in the world and have won championship titles in practically every major discipline. In 2006 SK-Gaming attended a total of 92 eSports events and secured first place in 66 of them.

SteelSeries was founded in 2001 and is a leading manufacturer of professional gaming gear, targeted at the hardcore competitive gaming segment. The company manufactures headsets, keyboards, software, mouse pads and other equipment for gamers striving to take their game to the next level. The company's mission is to create performance enhancing gaming gear that reduces reaction times and enhances precision and accuracy."The gaming gear from SteelSeries is the best in the industry, especially since the release of their SteelSound 5H v2 headset," says Mattias 'SK.Snajdan' Andersen.
