Seagate To Strike At SSD Manufacturers?

Despite the fact that Seagate CEO Bill Watkins doesn't believe solid state drives will be the way to go, the company has taken steps to take the market for their own should it take off.  It seems that Seagate holds a number of patents that deal with the drive's interface with the computer.  Watkins has said that many SSD makers have already violated these patents, naming Samsung and Intel specifically.  With rapidly dropping prices making SSD a more and more viable option, we may see Watkins make a move soon.

Will Seagate's patent claims hold up in the seemingly inevitable lawsuits?
