The two new Lapfit monitors, a 21.5" LD220G and a 18.5" LD190N, are designed to require minimal set up. The LD190N installs with a standard VGA cable while the LD220G provides the added benefit of USB connectivity with Samsung’s UbiSync technology, meaning there is no need to change settings or multiple video cards. It also acts as a USB hub to attach further UbiSync monitors or peripherals.
 
The pair weight between 3.6 and 4.5kg and have a low profile design for easy transportation. They both also have an integrated kickstand that tilts between 10 to 40 degrees to match the viewing angle of the existing laptop screen. The LD190N features a resolution of 1360 x 768 whilst the LD220G boasts full HD capabilities with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Both of the monitors features 250 cd/m2 brightness, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1, a 16:9 aspect ratio and 5ms response time.
 
They are expected to start shipping soon for around £160 and £100 for the LD220G and LD190N respectively.
