The 9800GT has been confirmed and will be ready for launch very soon. Much like the 8800GT it supports 512Mb GDDR3 video memory. The card has been codenamed D9P-40.

 

We are expecting a few less pixel shaders or even a rebranded 8800GT graphic card. Rumours started popping up about the 9800GT after somebody spotted it in the supported devices in Nvidia's leaked 175.80 forceware drivers. If you are interested you can find these drivers here, they support all major cards. Remember they are considered a beta so use at your own risk.

 

There is also word that Nvidia is working on a 55nm version of the G92, but we are not sure if the GT will get this core.
