NVIDIA today announced its nForce 680i LT SLI MCP core-logic for the extreme gamer market sector.

Engineered for the extreme gamer, the NVIDIA nForce® 680i LT SLI™ motherboard brings the award-winning performance of the nForce 680i SLI media and communications processor (MCP) to a sub-$200 price point. Featuring full-bandwidth dual x16 PCI Express slots, NVIDIA SLI support, best-in-class overclocking, and SLI-Ready memory up to 800 MHz, the nForce 680i LT SLI is the ideal platform for an extreme gaming system.

The Nvidia 680i LT SLI motherboard provides an 1333 FSB for refreshed Conroe processors as well as active cooling for both the North/South Bridge chipset.
