Microsoft's Largest Ever Update Page: 1

Microsoft will roll out it's largest ever security update tomorrow in an attempt to fix 34 vulnerabilities which span mutiple operating systems and software packages. The patches, which will be delivered via Microsoft Update, include 13 bulletins - eight of which are rated as critical. Of these 13 bulleting, five apply to Windows 7, the upcoming operating system, scheduled for release on October 22nd.
 
Microsoft states that affected software includes Windows, Office, Internet Explorer, Silverlight, Forefront, Developer Tools and SQL Server. Their previous largest security update featured when 10 bulletins, addressed 31 vulnerabilities and took place in June 2009.
