One of the main touted selling points of SSDs is their durability.  With no moving parts, SSDs have a major advantage in this department over traditional mechanical drives.  But how much abuse can SSDs really take?

Enter the SSD Destructo series.  A pair of guys from Kingston have taken it upon themselves to find out, though in a perhaps less traditional, more fun manner.  Tests so far have consisted of hitting the drive with a baseball bat, bowling ball and golf club, with the additional test of, as the Kingston boys call it, "throwing sh*t" at it.
