| The X-Stream is also a "wireless media hub", which means that it will stream all your media around the house. i-mate have kicked out a few other new products to work with this. First is the X-Stream Dock, a little black box running Windows CE. It'll hook up to a TV for wireless streaming, like the Apple TV. More interesting though, is that it will work like a thin client. With a monitor, keyboard and mouse it looks like a regular PC, albeit without a hard drive or any real power: all the work is done on the big machine over the air. Also no release date, but the price should be under £100 (around US$200). |
