EVGA update SLI Enhancement Patch.
EVGA have recently updated their SLI Enhancement patch,, to version 18, based on Nvidia's 191.07 drivers. EVGA's SLI Enhancement is an unofficial patch enabling SLI support in the latest games.
As many of you will know, recently released games often require driver updates and patches to fix bugs and work to their full potential. This is especially true if you’re running a multi-gpu setup.
It can often take weeks after a new game comes out for Nvidia to release updated drivers supporting SLI. EVGA have developed the SLI Enhancement Patch to help out gamers wishing to play the latest games on SLI rigs. They are aiming for a one day turnaround from a game demo being released, to an updated SLI Enhancement patch supporting the new game being released.
This is a great idea for anybody wanting to play the newest games in SLI, providing a temporary fix before the official driver update to come out.
The latest patch supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. It currently includes profiles to enable SLI support in the following games:
• Painkiller: Resurrection
• Wolfenstein Demo
• Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
• FIFA Soccer 2010
• League of Legends: Clash of Fates
• NHL 2009
• Order of War
• Race On
• Star Trek: D-A-C
If you are running an SLI system, and playing any of these titles, you can download the patch here
and enjoy SLI support straight away.
