Adding to their Republic of Gamers (ROG) series, leading motherboard manufacturer ASUS has recently announced the release of their main overclocking beast, the Striker Extreme. Based on NVIDIA's nForce 680i SLI chipset, this motherboard offers support for Quad-SLI, Intel's Quad-core processors, and FSB speeds of up to 1333MHZ. Packed with a multitude of features, this board is sure to provide the ultimate overclocking experience.

On the back I/O area, there is a small LCD Poster screen, displaying each process of the boot sequence to make diagnosis of system hangs easier than ever. Also there is an onboard LED light, providing illumination for easy connection of devices in dark environments.

And that's not all! To complete this already monster package, ASUS has put together a top-notch software bundle consisting of the popular game Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, 3DMark06 Advanced Edition, and a full version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal.
